Celestial Navigation at 39C3

I've written up my 39C3 talk "Celestial Navigation with as little math as possible" and they already have the video on media.ccc.de for you to watch my live demo. The source code to make the slide rules is available as is a really janky simulator. If you are interested in sextants and know how to HTML, please make it better!

The session at the Tea House afterwards was quite well attended and lasted over two hours, although it was not recorded. We could have used lots more space and materials. Unfortunately the Hamburg sun did not provide us any decent sights while we were practicing drawing lines of positions.
